Susan Bateman joined Rhodes Law Firm, PLLC, in 2022 as a Legal Assistant. She assists Ms. Rhodes in the area of Estate Planning which includes Wills, Trusts, General Powers of Attorney, Health Care Powers of Attorney, and Asset Protection.

Susan studied environmental education and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. Since then she has been a Cooperative Extension Agent, Environmental Health Specialist, Pastor’s wife, missionary to northern Maine, and an administrator/teacher for her home school. She has received funding for different grant proposals including for the restoration of the exterior of the 1860 sanctuary of Forestville Baptist Church.

When she isn’t at work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, studying the Bible, doing crafts, and participating in various community service projects.
